My Journey

Meet the Founder

Darya Tsaptsyna

Artist, dreamer, and guide

My journey began with a traditional art education at the Academy of Arts, followed by years of exploration in private artistic studios in Italy. As a professional illustrator, my work has been published internationally, and my paintings are part of private collections.

I deeply value this artistic path. It taught me discipline, observation, technique, and the power of visual storytelling. Yet beyond technique and recognition, I felt a deeper calling: to understand images not only as something we create, but as something that can reveal, transform, and connect us with our inner world.

My studies have expanded into Tarot, Tibetan mandalas, yoga, meditation, the Awakening of the Illuminated Heart teachings, and the work of Marie-Louise von Franz on fairy tales and Jungian psychology. Together, these influences shaped a unique approach that blends watercolor painting, symbolic exploration, and personal transformation.

I believe art is more than a creative skill. It is a bridge between the conscious and unconscious mind, between the individual and the larger story of humanity.

My discovery of Tarot opened a new dimension of creativity. I began to explore symbols, archetypes, dreams, and the hidden language of images. Through watercolor and intuitive painting, I learned to follow a different kind of guidance—one that comes from listening inward and allowing authentic expression to emerge.

The Tarot Magical Painting School was born from this journey: a space where art becomes a conversation with the deeper self, and where every image can become a doorway into transformation.

A Transformation Journey

My own journey moved through three stages:

I began with painting as a way of expressing what could not always be explained with words. Through color, intuition, and imagination, I discovered that images often reveal emotions, questions, and inner movements before we consciously understand them.

Creating — Listening Through Images

By recording and exploring my dreams, I discovered a deeper layer of imagery filled with symbols, archetypes, and personal messages. This opened a new relationship with the unconscious and with the hidden stories shaping my experience.

Through the connection between painting, dreams, and tarot, I found a way to work with images as a living language. They became mirrors of change, helping me understand myself, reconnect with my inner guidance, and create from a more authentic place.
